The Tools I Use to Run This Newsletter as a One-Person Show
A behind-the-scenes look at the platforms that make content creation easier and more efficient.
Hey there!
I get lots of questions on how I produce so much content with only being a one-person-show.
Today, I’m sharing the tools I rely on to put together this newsletter. If you’re curious about what makes my writing process smoother (and maybe want to try them out yourself), here’s a rundown of my go-to resources.
Passionfroot: Subscription Management Made Simple
What It Is
Passionfroot is a platform designed for creators to manage advertisers/partners and monetize their content. It’s straightforward and user-friendly, which is a huge plus when you’re juggling multiple tasks.
Why I Use It:
Easy Setup: Creating different advertising tiers is quick and painless.
Engagement Features: It has tools that help me connect with advertisers and work out deals, quickly.
Planning: The dashboard on Passionfroot allows me to set how many ads spots, of which types, I want to run each day. Then I work with advertisers and send them an invoice within seconds.

What It Is
Beehiiv is a newsletter platform that allows you to create beautiful newsletters (like this one) and own your audience. For those of us who still don’t know how to code, this is the BEST platform to write to your audience.
Why I Use It:
Design Flexibility: The no-code editor lets me create newsletters that fit my style.
Ownership of Data: I appreciate having control over my audience and subscriber data.
Monetization Options: It supports paid subscriptions and native ad placements, making it easy to generate revenue.

Perplexity: Efficient Research Tool
What It Is
Perplexity is an AI-powered search assistant that helps streamline my research process. It’s especially useful for quickly finding information or comparing products. My favorite part is that it cites its responses. I left ChatGPT for this and I haven’t looked back.
Why I Use It:
Quick Answers: It provides precise information without the hassle of sifting through multiple sources.
Idea Generation: The suggestions help spark new ideas for content.
User-Friendly Interface: Navigating the tool is straightforward, making research less of a chore.
