I'm Only A a Little Stitious. Michael Scott from The Office

Fun fact. Do your jeans have an awkward pocket? Most jeans have a small pocket above the pocket. This was used to store a pocket watch.

In today’s email:

  • Don’t be Superstitious. Be a little stitious like Michael Scott and own his watch.

THE MAIN THING

It’s boring, practical, and (used to be) cheap. The Timex Perpetual Calendar of Michael Scott

Today, we're delving into the comedic world of Michael Scott. You know him as The Office's lovable yet eccentric regional manager. You'll often find him with his trusty Timex Perpetual Calendar watch. The watch has a sleek stainless steel case and a sophisticated black leather strap. Like Michael, it exudes a charm that perfectly complements his quirky personality.

Picture Michael proudly striding into the office. His wrist is adorned with the classic Timex Perpetual Calendar. He's ready to tackle the day's challenges with unwavering confidence. And a touch of cluelessness. This watch keeps track of time and also adds a touch of elegance to Michael's ensemble. Despite his occasional fashion faux pas.

One of Michael's classic quotes perfectly sums up his relationship with time. "Sometimes I'll start a sentence, and I don't even know where it's going. I just hope I find it along the way."

That's the beauty of the Timex Perpetual Calendar. It remains steadfast and reliable, even when Michael's speeches veer off course.

And let's not forget Michael's penchant for motivational speeches. With his Timex Perpetual Calendar by his side, he's always on time to deliver his signature pep talks, whether they're about teamwork or the importance of a balanced breakfast (bacon and eggs, anyone?).

Summary

In conclusion, while Michael Scott may not always have a grasp on the intricacies of time management. His Timex Perpetual Calendar keeps him on time and aware of the day and date so he can keep living that office life.

IAN’S TOP 3

My favorite high-quality yet affordable 3-watch lineup.

It's no secret that I love Hamilton watches. They used to be manufactured near my hometown in Pennsylvania. and they are synonymous with the military. A Hamilton was the first automatic watch I added to my collection.

Each of these watches are available to purchase and are less than $1,000 USD. They'll go with almost any outfit. Let's get into it.

  1. Khaki Field Auto ($695). THIS is the watch I mentioned above. Watch 0 as I like to call it. It's the one that started my addiction to watches. I wear this one all the time. Between its water resistance, size (38 mm), and date complication, it's my daily driver. Not to mention it's a total strap monster. It looks great with a variety of straps. Mine is currently sporting a Summit Straps premium rubber strap. (use OwnTheWatch10 for a discount) I can't recommend this watch enough. (Own This Watch)

  2. Khaki Aviation Pilot Day Date ($995). If you're more of an aviator (or wanna-be) this is a great choice. At 42 mm, it's a bigger watch and the lum makes it easy to read in low light. The white dial and the silver hands are a beautiful combo. And never forget the day or date as you're crossing the international dateline. Of the watches on here, this is my least favorite. The other two options are just more of my style. (Own this watch)

  3. Khaki Field Expedition Auto ($945). While I normally require a watch to have the date, I'll give this one a pass. The white dial with the orange/tan hands pops. It's so easy to read. With 100 meters of water resistance and a power reserve of 80 hours, it's always ready for an adventure. If you always wanted a Rolex Explorer but are looking at something more entry-level, this is for you. (Own this watch)

📝 Prompt: a wristwatch that represents all of the stereotypes of a boring, office job.

Blandness. A bland wall with a bland keyboard. Topped-off of a boring and bland watch. There’s nothing wrong with it, it’s just boring.
