⌚️ The Vortic 2024 Military Edition
A Piece of American Military History
Each year on Veterans Day, Vortic Watch Company releases something special. A watch that carries a piece of American history on the wrist. The upcoming 2024 Military Edition is no exception. It’s more than just a watch. It’s a tribute to those who served, crafted from original military movements used in the 1940s. This limited edition breathes new life into these pieces of the past, restored and reimagined for today’s collectors and enthusiasts.
Now in its sixth year, the Military Edition has upped the ante with several incredible features. This year, for the first time, Vortic introduces a titanium case alongside rugged materials like 316L stainless steel and aluminum bronze. The watch’s 49mm case diameter gives it a substantial presence, but with sloped lugs and a 12 o’clock crown position, it sits comfortably on the wrist.
The craftmanship extends to the glass crystals. The front features domed sapphire glass, creating a striking profile while allowing more room for the vintage mechanics inside. The back uses flat sapphire crystal, showcasing the original movements that once powered soldiers’ watches during World War II. Both crystals are scratch-resistant and incredibly clear and offer an almost perfect view of the timepiece’s intricate inner workings.
To complement the Military Edition, Vortic has partnered with Greg Stevens Design to craft two unique straps. The first is a military-green canvas strap, echoing the colors of the 1940s. The second is black with vintage stitching for a color combo that will go with anything.

Moreover, $1,00 from each Military Edition watch purchase goes to the Veterans Watchmaker Initiative, a program dedicated to training returning veterans in the fine art of watchmaking. With this edition, Vortic celebrates the past while investing in the future of American craftsmanship.
